Description
The Alpe Adria Cycle Path across Slovenia has a lot to offer. Especially exciting are the many cities worth seeing, apart from the beautiful nature. After a short detour to the Italian border town of Tarvisio you cycle on to Slovenia. At the fairytale Lake Bled you will linger at the foot of the Julian Alps. On your tour from the mountains to the sea you will discover many great cities, places and attractions: Villach, Tarvisio, Bled, Ljubljana, Postojna with the world-famous stalactite caves as well as Lipizza – the place where the Lipizzaner horses are bred. On the last day you cycle to the former Habsburg city of Trieste. The old port and commercial city isa worthy conclusion of this bike trip.

The tour from Villach to Trieste is an easy tour. It goes along bike paths or very quiet side roads, through small villages and picturesque landscape. The tour is suitable for children over 14 years.
