The enjoyment tour of the Carinthian Lake Loop is a bicycle tour to the most beautiful lakes of Carinthia. It follows the original (great) Lake Loop but challenging passages (e.g. a longer section along the road and the strong increase to Lake Weissensee) are replaced by transfers by train and car. Past blue and turquoise lakes, accompanied by a hilly and mountainous landscape, the route fascinates with a varied landscape. The Mediterranean influence in the south of Austria makes cycling a pleasure from April to October.

Characteristics of the Route

This tour leads mostly on well laid out bicycle routes, often directly along the lakesides. The route is slightly hilly in the western part, the eastern part is mainly flat. This tour is also suitable for families with children aged 14 and over.

For an even more relaxed cycling trip, we recommend an E-bike!
