Away from the usual transit routes “Munich – Venice” and “Salzburg – Grado” an exciting cycling trip awaits you across the Alps towards the Adriatic sea. You start from Bavaria and cross Austria to finally cycle through the Friuli region towards the sea. The bike tour is very varied and leads through a wide range of natural and cultural landscapes.

Characteristics of the route

The route runs mainly on well-maintained cycle paths and low-traffic secondary roads. The most challenging sections are overcome by transfer. The cycling tour is suitable for children over 16 years.
